"Ball Park Music are one of Australia’s most exciting live bands, and seeing them step onto that stage before Oasis was really special," said Live Nation's Mark Vaughan.

Live Nation Australia’s original video series, Sound Check, returns for a third edition, spotlighting Ball Park Music as they prepared to open for Oasis.
After showcasing Anna Lunoe, Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, and COTERIE for its debut run, followed by Dallas Frasca for a second series, Sound Check continues to not only shine a light on Australia’s impressive live music scene, but also incredible opportunities, such as Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers opening for Pearl Jam and Ball Park Music opening for Oasis.
For its latest episode, Sound Check lifts the curtain behind Ball Park Music as they support Oasis in stadiums in Melbourne and Sydney.
From tuning guitars to performing before tens of thousands of fans, the series captures the emotion and adrenaline behind a life-changing experience. It peels back layers and lets fans in, with an intimate look at Ball Park Music’s preparation, nerves, and gratitude for the never-to-be-repeated opportunity.
“It’s hard to even describe what it feels like to open for Oasis,” the band said. “We’ve all grown up with their music, and to suddenly be standing there, playing before them, it’s surreal. You can feel the crowd buzzing from the moment you walk out. It’s a mix of nerves and pure joy. Nights like that remind you why you started playing music in the first place.”
Mark Vaughan, Senior Vice President Touring at Live Nation Australia and New Zealand, added, “Ball Park Music are one of Australia’s most exciting live bands and seeing them step onto that stage before Oasis was really special.

“Speaking to them after their show while they were watching Oasis perform and hearing how much it meant to them really hit home how big a moment this was for them. That’s what Sound Check is all about, capturing those career-defining moments that remind artists and fans why live music matters.”

Following their tour dates opening for Oasis, Ball Park Music have already announced another tour, hitting the road for a run of shows called The Rock ‘n’ Roll Adventure Continues in May and June 2026.
Announcing the tour on Instagram, Ball Park Music told fans that after the “craziest twelve months” they’ve experienced as a band, they’re a well-oiled live music machine. In 2026, they’ll celebrate their massive achievements by touring the country, “playing at some of our favourite venues.”
