There's never a dull week in the music world, and there was not different this week. So without further ado...

Melbourne band 4ARMstormed off their American tour... but then the promoters told us they'd kicked them off. The comments on this story were not kind to 4ARM.

The Sandringham Hotel, one of Sydney's best-loved music venues, went into receivership, throwing its future into doubt. We found out that hopefully there'll be gigs until December, at least.

Some sad news as The Frogs founder, and former Smashing Pumpkins member Dennis Flemion disappeared and has since been presumed dead.

Bluesfest were claiming quite a victory over the Byron Shire council in regards to the controversial events policy, with the festival's director Peter Noble taking us through just how bad the situation got.

There was plenty of fun to be had at the launch party for MOG, when RocKwizpitted Michael Gudinskiand Michael Chugg against each other. #1 got up over #3, perhaps fittingly.
