Oh SeesThey've almost been gone a year so it's most definitely time to see Thee Oh Sees back in Australia for some rollicking good garage rock'n'roll times. These guys constantly lay waste when they're here - and they've been coming here a fair bit lately - and this time they come fresh from releasing album number 14 Putrifiers II.
While they're undoubtedly categorised as a garage rock band, Thee Oh Sees are far more versatile than your average bunch of trashy, noisy, three-chord jammers. They are tight as hell and are constantly jumping between blazing psychedelic jams and sweet, sharp nuggets of pop-rock gold. Their recent visits have definitely left us wanting more, so it'll be a real treat to have them here early in 2013.
The band are one of the many acts playing the awesome I'll Be Your Mirror event, returning to these shores to play it at the request of the All Tomorrow's Parties crew, but they play five sideshows while they're here as well.
