Five international works, five world premieres. Largest program to date

Theatre Works' program for this year sees five international works (from the USA, Britain, Scotland, Germany and Holland) as well as five world premieres cross its stage.

One such world premiere is the anticipated Susie Dee-directed Animal, which explores raw physicality with regard to the question 'how do women respond to a world that celebrates the brutishness of men?'.

The program also features two remounts from MTC and Malthouse independent seasons (including Little Ones Theatre's Dangerous Liaisons); four works that have been selected on the VCAA playlist for Drama and Theatre Studies, and three award-winning shows from the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival (including opener Penny Arcade: Longing Last Longer).

In his fifth and final year as Creative Producer, Daniel Clarke has curated Theatre Works' largest program to date, incorporating 17 works.
