Connecticut emo band The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die have released a music video for track "Picture of a Tree That Doesn't Look Okay".
The track comes from the band's debut album 'Whenever, If Ever', released earlier this year through Topshelf Records.
"Directed and edited by the brilliant Geoff Hoskinson, a sequence of nature scenes seems to possess unnatural and supernatural qualities," explains guitarist Derrick Shanholtzer-Dvorak "Intercut with stark minimal geometric scenes, this music video expresses a feeling of displacement and alternate realities / possibilities paired with a song about decaying rental property, LSD experiences, and the personification of a decades worth of punk show fliers."
Check out the stunning clip below. "Whenever, If Ever" can be streamed and purchased digitally through BandCamp, while physical copies are available through theTopshelf Records webstore.
