The Whitlams are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their fourth album, Love This City, with an Australian tour.

Love This City—featuring the all-time classic Blow Up The Pokies—debuted at #3 on the ARIA Albums Chart. From October to December, the Whitlams will tour the album, playing it in its entirety plus a greatest hits set.

For the tour, the band will be accompanied by a brass section to add “power and sparkle” to the beloved songs. The band announced the tour on social media yesterday, revealing that they’ll be joined by special guests Charm Of Finches on all dates besides Melbourne, where Kim Salmon & Ashley Naylor's Tag Team Classic will open the shows.

The Whitlams’ Love This City tour begins on Friday, 3 and Saturday, 4 October at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel before heading to Sydney (Friday, 11 October), Canberra (Thursday, 17 October), Hobart (Friday, 18 October), Swansea (Saturday, 19 October), Brisbane (Saturday, 2 November), Thirroul (Friday, 8 November), Newcastle (Saturday, 9 November), Perth (Thursday, 14 November), Busselton (Friday, 15 November), and wraps up at The Gov in Adelaide on Saturday, 7 December.
