More The Weeknd More The Weeknd

The Weeknd has finally announced his return to Australia.

Happening this October, The Weeknd’s record-breaking After Hours Til Dawn tour, produced by Live Nation, will begin with two back-to-back shows at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium (Saturday, 5 and Sunday, 6 October) and another two shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium (Tuesday, 22 and Wednesday, 23 October).

The tour dates mark the singer’s first-ever stadium performances in Australia and his first shows down under since 2017. He’ll be joined by special guests Mike Dean and Chxrry22.

Unfortunately, due to “schedule and logistical constraints,” unlike the previously announced Australian tour dates, The Weeknd will no longer play shows in Brisbane or New Zealand. No other cities will be added to the tour.

The tour announcement comes after the Blinding Lights singer revealed that his After Hours Til Dawn tour, which was due to take place in November and December (but was postponed three weeks before the tour dates), was officially cancelled in February.

In a statement, The Weeknd said of the upcoming tour: “I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter and want to make sure you all know I hadn't forgotten about you.
