Karise Eden, who you may know best as the first-ever winner of The Voice Australia in 2012, has announced an extensive national tour for this winter and revealed a longtime health battle.
The 20-date tour will see Eden perform in venues across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania from May through to August.
Eden’s 2024 Winter Tour follows a brief hiatus in which she had to undergo essential surgery. For 18 months, Eden faced challenges on the road following a work-related injury that resulted in developing carpal tunnel syndrome.
Eden has shared updates about her recovery on social media, including a “picture of pure torture” of her hand wrapped up back and unable to complete basic tasks in March, and in a now-deleted Instagram reel, detailed the “tears of relief” when she picked up her guitar for the first time after surgery last month.
Post-surgery, Eden is prepared to emerge as her strongest self, promising a show of original compositions and a highly anticipated new single.

Eden is now a mother of two, and she continues to record in her home studio and hits the road with her trusty guitar.
