The Vines Are In The (Metal) Zone With Their New Clip

Inflammatory Australian rock veterans The Vines have announced their return to active duty in fittingly raucous style with the monochromatic tones and dark, rambunctious strains of Metal Zone, the band's first single from their forthcoming sixth studio full-length, Wicked Nature.

The track, named for the group's “favourite distortion pedal”, traverses the dynamic spectrum from whimper to scream and back, with frontman Craig Nicholls – and his hair – in typically unpredictable form that nonetheless at once oozes familiarity and charm.
