Jonas Brothers surprised fans in Seattle on Monday (22 September) when they brought Australian pop-rock sibling duo, The Veronicas, on stage.
Performing Lisa and Jessica Origliasso’s 2005 ARIA #2 single, 4ever, The Veronicas brought the energy in the opening verses and shared vocals with Joe and Nick Jonas later in the track.
The Veronicas were invited on stage, as the Jonas Brothers have continuously brought surprise guest performers on stage throughout their JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown 20th anniversary tour.
Reacting to the opportunity to perform with the Jonas Brothers, The Veronicas wrote on Instagram, “JOE, NICK & KEVIN THANK YOU FOR HAVING US LAST NIGHT! 20 years of celebrating music !! 🖤@jonasbrothers.”
You can watch the surprise collaboration below.
The performance marked the first time in 17 years that The Veronicas and Jonas Brothers shared the stage. In 2008, the Aussie sisters supported the brothers on their Burnin’ Up tour, which coincided with the Jonas Brothers’ Disney-fuelled fandom.

Marking a full-circle moment for both bands, The Veronicas recently celebrated coming third on triple j’s Hottest 100 of Australian Songs with Untouched (with 4ever landing at #76).
“We hear Untouched at sporting events, pubs, nightclubs, pride festivals, girls’ nights, weddings, rock radio plays it, top 40 plays it, metal guys love it, and pop and indie kids scream it,” the duo wrote on Instagram earlier this year.
They added, “It's been the greatest honour to see this song unite so many different people & scenes around the world, and especially back home in Australia. We’re so grateful Australia continues to celebrate what was a defining creative moment in our 20-year journey. We are so proud to represent Australian music.
“Thank you again for celebrating this song that represented a feeling of liberation for us. Thank you again. Love Jess and Lisa, two girls from Brisbane who grew up inspired by Australian rock and roll & Australia’s unbeatable history of live music.”
