Taking the comedy throne by the seat of their pants.

It's improv comedy's State Of Origin, it's Whose Line Is It Anyway? after a shot of adrenalin in the chest, it's the Theatresports National Championships and it's on in Sydney next month.

For over 25 years Australia's hottest theatresports comedians have made pilgrimage to the Sydney Comedy Festival to compete for the National Championship crown and this year's event will take place at Enmore Theatre on 24 April.

This year, Sydney's Cranston Cup Champions Kate Coates and Simon Greiner join the reigning national champion Edan Lacey to take on all the best visiting teams from around the nation in a series of improvised games - challenging each other to create comedy sketches on the fly for the delight of you, the viewer.
