Texan "Warlock Rock" four-piece The Sword have announced plans to enter the recording studio this March.

The band has scheduled March 16 as the official date for commencement.

"The Sword will commence recording their fifth album on March 16th. The album will be produced by Adrian Quesada and is scheduled for a late summer release with worldwide touring to follow," a statement reads.

The upcoming fifth full-length is a follow-up to 2012's 'Apocryphon'.
