Johnny MarrOne of the indie world's most infamous guitarists, The Smiths' Johnny Marr will play solo shows in both Melbourne and Sydney next year.
Marr is in Australia for the Falls Festivals runs, as well as Perth's Southbound and will perform tracks from his latest solo record The Messenger.
Marr left The Smiths in 1987 and has since played with bands such as Modest Mouse, Talking Heads and Beck.
It is the first time he will play for Australian audiences as a solo act.
