Once more unto the breach!
Beloved Aussie punk outfit The Smith Street Band have been relentlessly on the road in support of their acclaimed 2014 full-length, Throw Me In The River, pretty much since its release.
They've travelled the world on the back of the album but, before they head into the studio to turn their attentions fully to album number four, the band are heading out on one last local jaunt to give the LP a fitting send-off, having already taken it to festival and concert audiences around the country as well as the UK, Europe and North America over the past year-and-a-bit.
The Smith Street Band will kick off their Throw Me In The River victory lap at the Metro, Sydney, on Friday 3 June. From there, they'll take on Max Watt's, in Brisbane, on Saturday 4 June, knocking over Perth (Capitol, Friday 10 June) and Adelaide (The Gov, Saturday 11 June) the following week. Their final Australian show goes down in Melbourne, at Max Watt's, on Friday 17 June, before they hop the ditch for a trio of Kiwi shows in Auckland (Kings Arms, Thursday 23 June), Palmerston North (Great Job, Friday 24 June) and Wellington (Moon 1, Saturday 25 June).
The Aussie leg of the tour will be supported by Luca Brasi, Joelistics and the Jess Locke Band.
