Local heroes The Smith Street Band have released a new politically charged 7" single titled ''Wipe That shit-Eating Grin Off Your Punchable Face'.

Local heroes The Smith Street Band have released a new politically charged 7" single titled 'Wipe That Shit-Eating Grin Off Your Punchable Face'.

In the words of the band, the song targets "Our government's dehumanising stance on refugees and the empty promises of our current government in general."

Putting their money where their mouth is, the band have committed to donating the majority of proceeds raised by this single "to assist various asylum seeker and refugee organisations throughout Australia".
