Their eighth studio album is due this December
The Smashing Pumpkins have confirmed the release date of their forthcoming album Monuments To An Elegy.
The band’s eighth LP will be released on Friday 12 December in Australia, not soon enough for fans who have enjoyed the first two releases off the album, One And All and Being Beige.
Produced by Howard Willing, who first worked with the Pumpkins on the famous Adore sessions, as well as guitarist Jeff Schrorder and singer Billy Corgan, the album also enlists the talents of Tommy Lee on drums.
The LP will be out through Martha’s Music/BMG Music/Cooking Vinyl Australia. Fingers crossed a tour announcement is to follow.
