Last night, new music from The Screaming Jets premiered on Triple M, allowing fans to headbang along to their new single, Nothing To Lose.

The new single is only the first taste of what should be an exciting couple of months for the iconic rockers. The Screaming Jets are also releasing a new album, Professional Misconduct, later this year.

Produced by the powerhouse that is Steve James, The Screaming Jets sound at home in their latest old-school banger. With the bass up high in the mix, a stunning electric guitar tone, steady drums and, of course, the familiar, strong vocals from Dave Gleeson, the band sounds fresh and as rocking as ever. And the guitar solo? It’s great. You can check out the new single below.

While The Screaming Jets haven’t announced a release date for Professional Misconduct, we’ll update this article when they do and provide a pre-order link.

Last Friday, The Screaming Jets began their The Rock Vault Encore tour with special guests Pricey. The band are hitting regional hubs in New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania, with special appearances at the Gympie Muster and the Mt Isa Rodeo scheduled for next month. You can find all the tour dates below.

The Rock Vault Tour is the encore to the group’s lauded national tour, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of their ground-breaking (and Better featuring) rock album, All For One. That tour saw the band play to sold-out audiences nationwide and receive rave reviews.

The 30th-anniversary edition of All For One dropped in October 2021 – also recorded with original producer Steve James. The re-release hit #4 on the ARIA Albums and #1 on the Vinyl Albums charts.

Dave Gleeson said about the tour, “The Rock Vault Tour was a massive success for us, but we weren’t able to get to everywhere we wanted to. So we’ve been able to squeeze in some extra shows to places we haven’t visited for a while – like Tassie.

“We’re finishing up the last touches on our new studio album, so these ENCORE shows will give us one more chance to THRASH OUT the hits from all our past albums. The first round of shows went OFF - the set list is packed with fan favourites – we can’t wait to hit the road again! And we had such a blast with them last tour; we are taking those legends Pricey back on the road with us again – look out, people!!!”

In late May, Dave Gleeson stepped down from his longtime position as vocalist in The Angels, citing a need to focus his energy on The Screaming Jets and Triple M commitments.
