After four long years.
After four long years, Australia's premier hip hop event, Sprung Festival, is back.
After being teased last week, it has been confirmed today that the festival will return to Parkwood in Queensland on Saturday 28 October.
Following its debut event in 2011, Sprung boasted names such as Hilltop Hoods, Illy, 360 and Seth Sentry, while also fostering the early careers of acts such as Allday, Briggs and Thundamentals.
"We have been waiting for the right time to bring Sprung back to the people, we hit the ceiling pretty quickly when it came to headlining artists so we needed to allow the community to evolve," organisers said in a statement.

"We are now seeing artists that were once on at midday on our stages taking to the headline spots and a whole new wave of incredible artists that we can't wait to showcase.
"We think 2017 is going to be an incredible year for Sprung and hip hop as a whole… rest assured we are back for the long run and have some tricks up our sleeve for the years to come."
The full line-up will be revealed this Friday.
Pre-sale tickets will be available from next Monday (21 August), before going on sale to the general public on Thursday, 24 August.
