The Rubens Announce 'Hold Me Back' Mid-year Tour Dates

The Hottest 100 victors are off on four dates around the country this June

More The Rubens The Rubens Profile

In-form Australian upstarts The Rubens have unveiled a four-date run of shows this June in honour of new single Hold Me Back.

The mid-year sojourn will encompass shows in Brisbane (The Tivoli, Saturday 11 June), Perth (Metro City, Saturday 18 June), Sydney (Hordern Pavilion, all ages, Friday 24 June) and Melbourne (Margaret Court Arena, all ages, Saturday 25 June), for which they'll be joined by Mansionair and Slum Sociable, with Ali Barter also joining the fun for the final two shows.

Of course, it won't just be Hold Me Back getting an airing on the journey; The Rubens will no doubt be flaunting recent hits such as Hallelujah and the Hottest 100-winning Hoops among other fan favourites from their recent album of the same name and its predecessor as the band continue the solidly upwards trajectory they've been navigating since the album's release at least.

Frontier Members will have first run at tickets with an exclusive pre-sale from Tuesday 23 February, kicking off at 3pm AEDT and running until the same time on Wednesday 24 February (or earlier if allocation is exhausted) — if you're eligible, head to Frontier Touring's website for more info on the pre-sale.

General-public tickets go on sale from 10am local time on Thursday, 25 February, via Ticketmaster (Brisbane), Megatix (Perth) and Ticketek (Sydney/Melbourne).
