Rene LaVice returns on the back of his second LP

Canadian DJ, producer and filmmaker Rene LaVice has announced his Australasian return this June, following his second LP, Play With Fire.

After appearances all over Europe and North America (including Glastonbury and BSTK Festival), the artist was last year handpicked to remix electronic music virtuosos, The Prodigy.

The drum and bass producer — one of the hottest on the North American scene — made his debut in 2009 on Canadian label Stride Recordings, and has since grown a fanbase of luminaries including Nick Grimshaw, Crissy Criss and Bailey.

Play With Fire cemented Rene LaVice's reputation as one of the most musically distinct artists in his field, bridging the gap between genres.
