'There's no place for that at any gig anywhere.'

More The Preatures The Preatures

Sydney group The Preatures have taken to Instagram to call out a punter for hitting their bass player, Thomas Champion, in the face with a glass during a gig in Tasmania last night.

The incident occurred at the band's show at Launceston's Saloon Bar last night, with Champion sharing via Instastories, "To the dude the threw a glass onstage tonight and hit me in the face, fuck off home with your small dick energy. There's no place for that at any gig anywhere."

In subsequent stories, Champion is filmed saying that the perpetrator was quickly found and removed from the venue following the incident. Head to The Preatures' Instagram here to view the clips.

The show was the band's latest stop during their huge 47-date Aussie tour, which sees them visiting regional venues across the country. Check out theGuide for more info on dates.
