The Original Wailers Announce 'One Love' 2027 Australian Tour

Led by guitarist Al Anderson, The Original Wailers showcase the authentic spirit of Bob Marley by offering songs of peace, love, and unity.

Reggae royalty The Original Wailers – led by guitarist Al Anderson, who played in Bob Marley & The Wailers – are returning to Australia in March 2027, today announcing their One Love Tour.

Al Anderson is the sole surviving member of Bob Marley & The Wailers classic line-up of the ‘70s. After he joined the outfit in 1974 for the Natty Dread recording sessions, he went on to play on Live!, Babylon by Bus, Survival, and Uprising. Plus, he’s joined Peter Tosh on the albums Legalize It and Equal Rights.

The tour commences at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Saturday, 13 March. It continues at Adelaide’s The Gov on Monday, 15 March, Wollongong’s Anita’s Theatre on Thursday, 18 March, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, 19 March, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday, 20 March, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Thursday, 25 March, and concludes at the Gold Coast’s Twin Towns on Friday, 26 March.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, 9 June, at 10 am local time, ahead of the general sale on Friday, 12 June, at 10 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Metropolis Touring website.

According to legend, Bob Marley told Anderson to keep the band together before his passing. “Al, I’m going on my journey,” Marley told his bandmate. “Please honour the music that we made together and make sure the band stays together.”

That’s exactly what he’s doing. On each tour, The Original Wailers pay tribute to the legendary catalogue of Bob Marley, playing classics like Is This Love, Could You Be Loved, One Love, Buffalo Soldier, No Woman No Cry, I Shot the Sheriff, Jamming, and many more. With each show, they showcase the authentic spirit of Bob Marley & The Wailers by offering songs of peace, love, and unity.
