Melbourne based band The Omen have posted a new song onto their myspace page. The song "Fuck Mountain" is taken from the band's new 7", titled "Room Five"."Room Five" is three songs recorded live to the digital format by the band themselves, in the room where the band rehearse at Melbourne's Three Phase studios. While recording demos for the upcoming release, the band was taken aback by the energy captured by the live demos that they decided to cancel the studio time booked, and record the 7 inch EP themselves.Tracked live over the course of three days and nights, what was captured was five dudes, crammed into a room and pushing each other to get the best possible outcome.

The new record is the band's first material to feature Cragios (In Name and Blood/Seduction) on vocals, and Reece Hickey (Stand Defiant) on guitar.
