The Ocean PartyThe Ocean Party have announced their fifth album in just three years.
Titled Light Weight, the follow-up to last year's Soft Focus will be released on 9 Oct via Spunk Records in Australia and NZ. The band will be launching it with shows all around the country in October and November.
Light Weight is the first album The Ocean Party have recorded in a studio, John Lee (Lost Animal, Love Of Diagrams) at the helm, and features cameos from familiar Melbourne musicians - Ashley Bundang (Totally Mild, Zone Out) singing backing vocals and Aaron Silver (Francolin) contributing trumpet.
The album scores a European release in November via Caroline International.
