Its Melbourne's turn to host the illustrious event.

Now in its ninth year, the NPF is hosted annually in a different state, this year taking place at Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne.

There will be public readings from some of the most dynamic new plays by leading writers, a series of public talks, and a range of masterclasses an workshops exploring the frontiers of writing.
