The Naked & Famous Debut In US Top 50

New Zealanders join Lorde in the chart

More The Naked & Famous The Naked & Famous Profile

New Zealand indie darling The Naked & Famous have debuted in the top 50 of the US Billboard chart this week with their album In Rolling Waves.

Debuting at 48 (they managed 12 in Australia), they join a healthy contingent of antipodean artists in the US album chart. Aussie country star Keith Urban is at eight this week with Fuse after claiming his second US number one last week, while New Zealander Lorde's The Love Club EP is at 26 in its 15th week. Her debut album Pure Heroine is out today in Australia and is expected to challenge for the top spot when it charts.

Queensland-formed but now American-based Christian rock band Newsboys dropped to 100 after debuting at 38 last week with Restart.

Aussie artists are once again a force in the Dance/Club Play charts with Iggy Azalea's Work climbing to a new high of five in its seventh week. Havana Brown's latest track Flashing Lights also hit a new peak in the same rankings, up to ten in its sixth week.
