'Rented World' is out this April

More The Menzingers More The Menzingers

Pennsylvania's The Menzingers are set to unleash some more punk chestnuts on us with the release of their new album Rented World on Friday 18 April.

The album sees the band tackling a more mature sound, with guitarist/vocalist Tom May admitting: "When we were younger we wrote fiery songs because at that age it's your world view. Now I look at the world and think 'well, maybe I'm not right all the time.'"

Watch the video for the album's first track In Remission now.

The Menzingers enlisted Jonathan Low to engineer the album - a choice made on purpose given his previous credits (The National, Kurt Vile) and the new direction the band wanted to take.

Here is the album tracklist:

1. I Don't Wanna Be An Asshole Anymore
2. Bad Things
3. Rodent
4. Where Your Heartache Exists
5. My Friend Kyle
6. Transient Love
7. The Talk
8. Nothing Feels Good Anymore
9. Hearts Unknown
10. In Remission
11. Sentimental Physics
12. When You Died

You can catch The Menzingers in all their punk glory on a joint tour with local heroes The Smith Street Band in March. Check out theGuide to find out when they will be visiting your town.
