The boys over in The Lane Cone have reinvented themselves with a new sound and a new name; Eedyot.
Much like Ocean Grove and My Ticket Home, the originally metalcore band have seemingly taken the more obscure, nu-metal route with their music. It's of course, still heavy.
The group made the announcement earlier this evening with the following statement:
"WE'RE BACK!
Hey everyone, we've been very quiet for almost a year now but we've been slowly working away, transforming ourselves into the band we've dreamt of being for a long time. We will be ending the era of 'The Lane Cove' and entering a new one as 'EEDYOT'. We feel that the new music and vibes we'll be putting out (to us at least) are a massive change from where we've been and feel it's time to reinvent. So without any further delay, here's the new us..."
