British-American rock duo The Kills will perform two headline sideshows when they're in the country for the sold-out Splendour In The Grass festival later this year.
The rambunctious pairing of British guitarist/vocalist Jamie Hince and American vocalist Alison Mosshart will ride to Australia high on the momentum provided by forthcoming fifth LP Ash & Ice (out Friday 3 June via Domino) straight to the stage of Melbourne's Forum Theatre on Saturday 23 July before taking on Sydney's Enmore Theatre on the other side of the festival, on Tuesday 26 July.
The band sold out their 2011 tour of Australia, so expect tickets for this one to move quickly — they'll go on sale from 10am AEST on Tuesday 26 April as part of a Frontier Members-only pre-sale, which lasts for 24 hours or until the allocation is exhausted.
If you're a part of the general public, you can take a stab at tickets from 11am local time on Thursday 28 April via Ticketmaster (Melbourne) or Ticketek (Sydney).
