The Killers Tap Local Openers Radio Free Alice For Australian Tour

Melbourne band Radio Free Alice have been added to The Killers’ upcoming Australian tour, joining the already-announced Jet as special guests for the tour.

Jet will be opening for The Killers for their show in Townsville on Saturday, 30 November. Radio Free Alice will join the American rockers for shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

As The Music reported earlier this year, the shows on this tour are either a Greatest Hits set (named after The Killers’ Greatest Hits album, Rebel Diamonds) or a celebration of their beloved debut album, Hot Fuss, which they’ll play in its entirety as well as some extra songs. Radio Free Alice will open for the band for both sets of shows.

Forming in Sydney in 2020 before moving to Melbourne, the band’s debut self-titled Radio Free Alice EP was nominated for Best Independent Punk Album at this year's AIR Awards. They recently dropped the follow-up to the self-titled effort, the Polyester EP, and continue to wow crowds across the country.
