The Julie RuinJust announced for Hobart's Mona Foma Festival, The Julie Ruin will also play shows in Sydney and Melbourne early next year.
Presented by The Music, the band are fronted by Riot Grrrl Katheen Hanna, who's assembled an expert band which also includes Bikini Kill bandmate Kathi Wilcox. The current incarnation of a project that started with a solo record in 1997, the dance-punk assault will be coming to Australia for the first time and will be playing tracks from their awesome Run Fast album.
