Teeth Dreams, the new record from highly literate classic rockers The Hold Steady was released in the US this week, leaving the legions of Australian fans wondering if the band completely forgotten about us.

Of course that has not turned out to be true, with the news announced this morning that Teeth Dreams will of course have an Australian release, and with some bonus tracks to boot! The album will see the light of die through Razor & Tie/Sony on Friday 2 May, it's their first record since 2010's Heaven Is Whenever and the first new music we've heard since their The Bear and the Maiden Fair song for Game Of Thrones.
