As reported on Triple J, The Grates guitarist John Patterson has sustained a head injury whilst performing in Brisabne recently.
In a true Spinal Tap moment, a large prop fell from above the stage leaving the guitarist with a large gash. John said, "I wish it was a cymbal or a guitar rather than a rainbow, mirrored pinwheel though! Would've been more rock.".
