The Gooch PalmsNovocastrian garage duo The Gooch Palms are set to release their debut album NOVO'S next month, but they've given us a new single today to tide us over until the records start shipping.
That new single is the title track from the album, the band explaining that NOVO'S describes “the actions, attitudes, beliefs, and dispositions (among other things) of a lazy, apathetic, and above all, worthless individual from Newcastle”. It's kinda fitting then, we guess, that the clip shows footage of The Star Hotel riots.
The song is a belter and it just makes us so excited to get our hands on a copy of the record. It also has us fired up to see the band performing live again, which plenty of us around the country get the opportunity to see from early next month.
