The Getaway Plan Album Debuts At #1 On Indie Music Charts

The boys are on a roll.

More The Getaway Plan The Getaway Plan Profile

The Getaway Plan's third studio album Dark Horses debuted in the top ten on the ARIA Charts this week, but the Melbourne band have gone one better with the record landing in the #1 position on the Carlton Dry Indie Music Charts.

The debut charting pushes Hermitude's Dark Night Sweet Light from the top spot, which dropped to third, switching places with pop star Sia's acclaimed album 1000 Forms Of Fear claiming second spot after a massive 53 weeks in the charts.

There were very few changes to the Albums Chart from last week's listing which was also case on the Singles Chart, however there were a number of debuts.

Dance duo Collarbones debuted in the #2 position with their song remixed by producer FlumeTurning, ironically pushing down his own tune, Some Minds down to the #3 spot.

Meanwhile, Hermitude managed to make more noise on the indie charts this week — after taking out the #1 spot yet again with The Buzz, their new song Searchlight featuring Yeo, debuted in the #7 position.
