Melbourne's The Gasometer Hotel is under new ownership.
Known as The Gaso, the much-loved Collingwood venue went up for sale in April last year with former owners Clint Fisher and Shan Vanderwert officially confirming the sale to James Martelletti in a post to social media this past weekend.
"Statement from Shan and Clint: We’d like to welcome and congratulate James Martelletti and his team on taking over The Gasometer Hotel," read the post.
"After seven amazing years, it’s now time for the two of us to spend time with family and explore new avenues.
"It’s been an incredible ride – we’d like to thank all the bands, musicians, artists, crew, staff, suppliers, punters and friends for being part of the Gasometer family.
"We wish James all the very best. We know the Gaso is in excellent hands and the tradition of live music will continue. See you all for a beer sometime."

Fisher and Vanderwert - who had previously been with Brunswick's Retreat Hotel and Coburg's The Post Office Hotel respectively - took over the venue in 2014 after its sudden closure the previous year.
The venue was built in 1861 and is now a staple of the Melbourne live music scene, playing host to shows from Jet, Kimbra, Mallrat, Marlon Williams, Ecca Vandal, Kaiit and more in recent years.
