Goodbye money.
With a number of international and local heroes confirmed for Sydney Comedy Festival in recent months, the full line-up has been revealed, with the likes of Chris D'elia, Becky Lucas, Eric Andre, Nazeem Hussain and Susie Youssef making up one of the event’s strongest bills to date.
The first taste of things to come came back in December when UK stars Stephen K Amos and Jimeoin and Australia’s adopted son Arj Barker were locked down alongside home-grown favourites Matt Okine, Dave Hughes, Becky Lucas and more before another teaser dropped earlier this month to confirm Frenchy and Alice Fraser.
While many acts may be veterans of SCF, the NSW staple will see debut performances from UK maestros Joe Lycett, Andy Zaltzman, Phill Jupitus, Romesh Ranganathan and Dane Baptiste, US stars Chris D’Elia, The Hodgetwins and the aforementioned Eric Andre, alongside Indian acts Papa CJ, Vir Das and more.
The festival’s also looking to introduce the next generation of comedy lovers to the craft with Sydney Town Hall’s Comedy for Kids! Shipwreck Gala targeted at kids between 5 — 12 and hosted by Harley Breen and Heath Franklin, dishing up sketch comedy and stand-up.

The comedy overload will consume Sydney from April 24 – May 21, with more than 300 acts, expecting to take on more than 120,000 punters, if last year’s sizable results are anything to go from.
