Joined by their new lead guitarist
Australian-American hard rock powerhouses The Dead Daisies have announced the details of their new album, titled Make Some Noise and due for release on 5 August this year.
The band finished their third studio album — which follows last year's excellent Revolucion — in March with mega-producer Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe), and are set to tour Europe from June.
This follows the recent addition of new lead guitarist Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) to join the existing line-up of John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink).
Having only formed in 2012, the supergroup has already amassed a reputation for their impressive live performances, having toured with the likes of ZZ Top, Aerosmith and KISS.
