It's only been a year, but we've missed them anyway.
US garage legends The Dandy Warhols have today announced they're heading Down Under this October in support of their latest LP, Distortland.
Returning just over a year after performing at last year's Splendour In The Grass festival, the Portland quartet will kick off the seven-date national tour in Perth, followed by shows in Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne throughout late October-early November.
Though Distortland was recorded on an ‘80s cassette in Courtney Taylor’s basement, the album is not without a contemporary touch, as it was mixed by Jim Lowe — best known from his work with Taylor Swift and Beyonce.
Tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale from 9am on Friday, 17 June.
