American hip hop duo The Cool Kids have announced their second album Shark Week alongside a double-single release!
Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish make up American hip hop duo THE COOL KIDS. Having been around for about six years now, we haven't heard much at all from the boys collectively since their third mixtape release Tacklebox that was released back in 2010 - until now anyway.
Adding to their bank of projects that consists of three official mixtapes, three EPs and just one LP (all released on their own label C.A.K.E. Recordings), The Cool Kids have [finally] announced the issue of a follow up full-length album that will go by the name of Shark Week set for release this year! To amp us up with such important news, they've given us two fresh tracks - 'Computer School' and 'Chop (feat. The HBK Gang).
'Computer School' kicks off with some audio basically ordering "computer school" as a phony profession. From here on in, we're introduced to a cruisy beat accompanied by both Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks passing each other verses, reestablishing their reputation in rhyme before a quick instrumental wind down. From what opens the track to how it ends, we watch a joke become a contrast to the boys, as they confirm that they're a part of this musical journey for real.

With the help of The HBK Gang, 'Chop' illustrates a much faster tempo with a dirtier bass and thicker arrangement of samples and beats when compared to The Cool Kids' other new single. Running into a turn of events about three quarters of the way through, a suddenly lighter backdrop walks into existence and eventually buddies up with the initial instrumentation that 'Chop' rekindles with.
After listening to both 'Computer School' and 'Chop', it's fair to say that both are pretty sweet comeback tracks, proving an anticipating release for the majestic duo's forthcoming record Shark Week.
