The Clean ProfileIconic New Zealand lo-fi psychedelic outfit The Clean have announced a short run of Aussie dates to coincide with their appearance at Sydney Festival in January of next year.
Although they’re not too far from Aussie soil, we’ve only seen them tour the country two times throughout their 25-year career, and their third visit will see four shows including their Perth debut, with the tour kicking off at Sydney Festival on Tuesday 20 January.
Proprietors of DIY and champions of the Flying Nun label, forming in the late ‘70s, The Clean helped shape the worldwide scene and lent influence to the likes of Sonic Youth and Pavement.
