Triple J releases ‘Making A Murder’ parody to celebrate.

As if narrowing down your annual Hottest 100 list wasn’t hard enough, artists around the country have once again begun vying for votes across social media.

Voting for triple j’s annual countdown opened today, and, as highlighted below, there’s some tough competition out there.

The youth broadcaster has also rolled out a star-studded Making A Murderer parody featuring a wealth of local and international artists primed for top placement, including Amy Shark, Dean Lewis, Charli XCX, Tash Sultana, The Wombats, A$AP Rocky, Steve Aoki and so many more.

In the video, triple j Breakfast presenter Liam Stapleton finds himself in serious hot water after forgetting to vote.

Voting closes January 22 at 9am AEDT, before the Hottest 100 kicks off on January 27 at 12pm AEDT.
