"It’s fucking huge, I’m stoked, what can I say?"
Aussie rockers The Butterfly Effect have been announced as a last minute addition to the 2019 Good Things Festival line-up.
In what will be their first festival appearances in 11 years, the band are confirmed to perform at all three events in Melbourne, Sydney and their home town of Brisbane.
"If someone had of told me that more than six years after leaving the band we’d be back together, stronger than ever and playing Good Things, I’d have told them they were dreaming," vocalist Clint Boge said.
"But here we are. I never thought I’d be playing another show with The Butterfly Effect let alone a festival like Good Things, it’s fucking huge, I’m stoked, what can I say?"
The news comes only weeks after US group Coheed & Cambria announced they have had to pull out of the line-up, while fellow American outfit The Damned Things have also dropped out of Good Things 2019 "due to scheduling conflicts".
