The Bluths Are Back In New Trailer For 'Arrested Development' Season Five

The long-awaited fifth season of beloved sitcom Arrested Development has been confirmed with Netflix dropping the official teaser trailer.

In the trailer, the Bluth family are back together again with possible hints towards what the new series may bring including Lindsay running for political office, Maeby going prematurely grey and the whole gang picking up the coveted 'Family Of The Year' award from...themselves?

The new season is accompanied by a 'remixed' version of the 2013 fourth season, which was the first to air on the streaming platform.

The trailer follows on from the confirmation that actor Jeffrey Tambor will be returning as a part of the lead cast and will also appear at the show's media appearances, despite being fired from Amazon series Transparent in February due to multiple sexual assault allegations.

The fifth season of Arrested Development will premiere on Netflix on 29 May.
