Brisbane-bred upstart festival The Blurst Of Times has revealed the first round of acts on-board its 2014 line-up, and even if we weren’t proudly presenting the event’s second-ever iteration this October, we would be telling you that it is well worth your time, money and effort to go.
Why? Well, how about the fact that the fledgling festival has netted a slew of horns-worthy acts to fill the stages at The Brightside, The Brightside carpark and The Zoo on October 18, including the unstoppably ascendant DZ Deathrays, the legendary Hard Ons and Melburnian indie-poppers Dick Diver as well as Blank Realm, Orphans Orphans, The UV Race, Major Leagues, TV Colours, High Tension, Babaganouj, Rolls Bayce, Day Ravies, High-Tails, I, A Man, Dollar Bar, Roku Music, The Good Sports, The Upskirts, Born Lion and Salvadarlings.
There’ll be another announcement in juuuuust under a month (on September 8), which will take the total number of acts on offer up to 28, so keep an eye out for future updates and grab your tickets before you run the risk of missing out entirely (available now).
