Popular Ohio rock duo The Black Keys have announced an Australian tour.

The band returns down under next April as part of the Turn Blue world tour, with the group taking in seven performances.

The Black Keys led the first round of Bluesfest announcements this morning, with further dates now available.

The tour coincides with the band’s current eighth studio album.

“We are always trying to push ourselves when we make a record—not repeat our previous work but not abandon it either. On this record, we let the songs breathe and explored moods, textures and sounds,” drummer Patrick Carney said of the release.
