The BenniesMelbourne party punk crew The Bennies have signed to Poison City Records for the release of their upcoming album.
The hard-touring outfit released their first album Party! Party! in 2011, and have released an EP and a 7-inch since then. They next album, recorded with Sam Johnson (The Smith Street Band, A Death In The Family, Arrows) at Three Phase Studios, is slated for release Monday 4 November.
Earlier this year the band's guitarist Julien Rozenbergs was the victim of a near-fatal stabbing following a Byron Bay show.
The band are self-managed and booked.
