The Beards ProfileAdelaide beard-rock band The Beards have been forced to cancel their planned North American tour after they were denied visas by US immigration.
In a statement cancelling both the US and Canadian tours the band said, “The entire tour was cancelled after US Immigration denied the band performance visas. The US consulate is yet to give a reason for the refusal. We will be appealing the decision and if it is overturned, we will return to America and Canada to play shows as soon as we possibly can.
“We want to offer our most sincere apologies to all of our North American fans.”
Management has been contacted for further comment.
The Beards have enjoyed national and international notoriety for pioneering their own brand of bearded rock'n'roll. Two of their biggest crowd favourites include If Your Dad Doesn't Have a Beard, You've Got Two Mums and You Should Consider Sex With A Bearded Man.
