The Beach Boys will be playing gigs in Australia this year as a part of their 50th Anniversary Tour.

It has been confirmed today that The Beach Boys will be playing gigs in Australia this year as a part of their 50th Anniversary Tour.

The tour marks the first time in over twenty years that original members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks will go on the road together.

This line-up of The Beach Boys recently completed recording the band's 29th studio album, That's Why God Made The Radio.

The Beach Boys will perform in five capital cities around Australia:

Tuesday 28 August - Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
Thursday 30 August - Allphones Arena, Sydney
Friday 31 August - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Sunday 2 September - Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
Thursday 6 September - Burswood Dome, Perth

Tickets for all shows go on sale 9am, Wednesday 13 June from Ticketek.
