The Art Cancel US Tour Plans

Band were to tour with Faster Pussycat

More The Art The Art Profile

Sydney rock outfit The Art have cancelled their upcoming US tour places due to “personal circumstances beyond our control”.

The band were expected to be leaving in the coming weeks to support American glam rock out Faster Pussycat. The first date was slated for 21 March in Arizona with dates running almost-daily for over a month.

Today The Art's statement read, “Due to personal circumstances beyond our control, The Art regretfully have to cancel our planned US touring. We will advice future dates when we can. Sorry for any inconvenience.”

Last week The Art's frontman Azaria Byrne was implicated in a serious Bali drugs case, with reports that Balinese police had asked Interpol to help them speak to Byrne. There has so far been no tie between Byrne and the arrest of a woman in Bali beyond police wishing to speak with him.
